Who Are We?

The OMC is an informal fellowship of medievalists, gathering each Fall and Spring to share work in progress and to inspire one another's teaching and research. Founded by Kristen Figg and John B. Friedman, our membership expands yearly to include medieval scholars across Ohio and in neighboring states.

Our training and backgrounds are diverse, and we are always excited to welcome new members and expand the community of medieval studies in Ohio. Whether you're a graduate student, current faculty member, emeritus professor, or independent scholar, we'd love for you to join us at our next meeting.
